Odyssey Martial Arts Academy is an official Modern Army Combatives School certified by the U.S Army Combatives School (U.S Army Combatives Head Quarters) located in Fort Benning, Georgia. The Modern Army Combatives School of Virginia is owned and opporated by Modern Army Combatives LEVEL 4 Instructor John Simons III.

We offer all active duty & reserve Military the chance to train Combatives at the M.A.C School of Va. at no charge as our contribution to our local community and country.

Soldiers are welcome to train in Mixed Martial Arts (UMAC), Gracie Jiu-Jitsu (RGJJ), Real Street Self-Defense, Wing Chun Gung Fu (CRCA) and our new Odyssey Fitness program. All this at NO CHARGE. Thanks for protecting our beloved country. - John Simons III
